Mother, may you be at peace.
This small photo was inside of a pin in the shape of a military hat that had small details of a eagle on front of hat and crossed rifles on top. I believe it to be the photo of a young Josiah Street. I found some type of token with Peggy's mother's name on it from the company I think Josiah worked for in Philadelphia.

Mom worked for Morey's Piers in 2001 and 2002 I think. Just some part time stuff. I think she worked a walk in maze for kids. This is a pic for their 2002 year book.

First image:The poem I read at the funeral.
I think mom made this in either Sunday school or maybe at Catholic School in philadelphia. I do not know what year. The back is signed as Margaret Ann Street which i never heard mom use.
Although Peggy was born in a very religious area of Mississippi I do not ever really remember her talking about church or GOD. She sometimes would go to church if the family had something going on, like a baptism but, she never said she wanted to just go to church nor did I ever see her pray. This book was full of cut out prayers and was made with a lot of care.
The day was full of sadness but, the weather..beautiful. Mom would have really loved it. The nice weather was a blessing. Here is the unedited speech I made.
Peggy did love to cook and when she met and married Frank Sabo, she had to learn to cook Hungarian food. Frank might have been first generation to be born in U.S. but i am not sure.
These are a few pictures and i.d. tag I found. One image, Peg was in a nursing home for 21 days healing from a serious kidney infection that nearly took her life. At the one arm bandits. prayer card for her mother Lottie. One pic with grandson.
This blog is to honor a dear mother and friend. I will continue to maintain this as long as I can posting any pictures, notes or other items that I find. She will be missed.
